Climbing trails on the Dachstein have a long tradition - the very first climbing trail in the Eastern Alps leads over the "Randkluft" on the Hohe Dachstein.
"Der Johann" and "Der Irg" are probably the most well-known of the 14 climbing trails on the south and north faces of the Dachstein range. |
Golf & Country Club Dachstein Tauern - right near our apartments Unique for an alpine golf course are its "Florida flair" and long season - from the first day of spring to late autumn.

Fun on two wheels.
The mountain bike dorado of the Dachstein Tauern is calling. There are great bike tours of all levels of difficulty available. The various levels of altitude and tours to lovely destinations guarantee great fun for all bikers.
 | | The many valleys can be explored "from the saddle".
A real treat is the slightly hilly Enns cycle path, which connects the provinces of Salzburg, Styria and Upper Austria.
Plus there are many running routes around the mountain town of Schladming as well as in Rohrmoos-Untertal. |

In addition to the top tourist attraction in the region - the Dachstein Glacier with its spectacular Skywalk, there are numerous other sights for you to explore.
